Broad range of leisure activities

Alongside classic outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking and cycling, golfers, Nordic walkers and climbers also love coming to the Puster Valley. The Kronplatz Golf Club at the foot of the Kronplatz offers the ideal stage for a sociable round of golf.

 

“Nature.Fitness.Kronplatz.Dolomiti” offers Nordic Walking tours of easy and medium levels of difficulty in the middle of pure natural surroundings. For those in search of thrills, the Outdoor & Funpark Kronaction has 14 obstacle courses for both young and old. Other exciting activities include swimming at Issinger Weiher pond, rafting, and horseback riding in Puster Valley.

 

Those interested in cultural activities will also find suitable leisure activities while vacationing at Hotel Tanzer. Mountainbiken

Are you passionate about cycling and want to experience this freedom with a view of the breathtaking panorama of the Dolomites? In the Puster Valley, around our hotel, an extensive network of cycle paths with well-maintained routes awaits you. Far away from car traffic, you have the choice between a leisurely family ride or a sporty bike race. You can hire e-bikes directly from the Tanzer.

Outdoor and Funpark Kronaction

This adventure park and climbing garden is for thrill-seekers. Test your limits and discover something new over 14 obstacle courses. The largest high rope course in South Tyrol is situated directly at Issinger Weiher pond and provides great fun for the family. To ensure safety, there are qualified high rope course trainers on hand at all times.

Enjoy a dip in the refreshing water at Issinger Weiher pond. As one of the last remaining pond biotopes in South Tyrol, Issinger Weiher is not only a bathing paradise for water lovers, but also of interest for biologists, who are amazed by its unusual fauna and flora.

Rafting Adventures

The thrill of thundering water and high waves: enjoy rafting with one of the nearby rafting clubs in the Puster Valley and discover nature from an entirely new perspective, accompanied by experienced rafting guides.

Riding

The permanent exhibition at the Messner Mountain MuseumRipa in Bruneck, by mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner, offers insights into the lives of mountain inhabitants around the world. Further highlights include the earth pyramids in Percha, St. Valentinskirche Church in Pfalzen and the Bergila herb garden and pine oil distillery in Issing. Issing-Pfalzen & Bruneck

The hamlet of Issing in the village of Pfalzen exudes a unique idyllic charm. The traditional church, the modern Hotel Tanzer and the fire station can be viewed as anchor points of the village. In tiny Issing you will immediately feel at home.

The traditional town of Bruneck with its numerous culturally significant buildings and colorful houses is described as the pearl of the Puster Valley. A variety of boutiques, shops and restaurants await you.

Bergila herb garden & mountain pine distillery

The Niederkofler family cultivates many varieties of herbs, flowers and grass on a meadow near Bergila in Issing. These are then distilled to create high-quality and healthy essential oils for use to treat a variety of aches and pains. Special skill is required in the manufacture of pine oil, which is also used for treatment of various conditions. The herb garden and pine oil distillery can be visited free of charge.

Percha’s earth pyramids & St. Valentinskirche church

As the largest earth pyramids in the Pustertal Valley, the earth pyramids in Percha attract numerous visitors each year. The limestone formations with stones at their tips are the result of storms over previous centuries, making for an impressive quirk of nature.

St. Valentinskirche in Pfalzen is a pilgrimage site situated in the middle of green meadows and fields. Its late Gothic architecture enchants visitors with its typical vaults and round arches, as well as picturesque painted columns by renowned artists.

Südtiroler Volkskundemuseum folklore museum

The folklore museum in Dietenheim near Bruneck is dedicated to the lives of the rural population of South Tyrol. At the heart of the museum – the Mair am Hof estate – there is an ethnological display. A multitude of farming equipment and vehicles are also on displayed at the museum. Come and take part in this amazing journey back in time.

Messner Mountain Museum Bruneck

As one of the six Messner Mountain Museums (MMM), MMM Ripa at Bruneck Castle is dedicated to mountain inhabitants from around the world. The initiator and mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner, aims to bring you closer to the lives, culture and tourist industry of various mountain villages around the world, with the help of habitat, films and other encounters.

Lake Garda & Venice

A two-hour car journey will take you to Italy’s largest lake. Lake Garda is filled with Italian flair. Enjoy a cappuccino in one of the cozy cafés by the lake, stroll through the typical lanes and walk alongside the calm waters. A pure taste of la Dolce Vita.

You can reach Venice in approximately 3.5 hours, a city full of history and tradition. Take a romantic gondola trip on the Grand Canal or enjoy a cup of coffee in St. Mark’s Square – Venice is full of surprises.

Verona-Arena

The city of Verona is only a 2.5 hour drive away. You will find many historical buildings and cultural treasures there. Juliet’s balcony, a witness to the fateful romance of Romeo and Juliet, and Verona’s ampitheater transport you back to the past. Particularly recommended is an evening at the opera at the Verona Arena, where the best opera singers of the world display their talent in a wonderful atmosphere.
