Tradition and philosophy in the Tanzer

According to the state archive in Bolzano, the "Tanzer property" was first referred to in documents dating back to 1810. Josef Baumgartner purchased the hotel in 1933, and since then the Tanzer property has stayed in the family and is now managed by the third generation of Baumgartners. The original guesthouse was managed between 1933 and 1969 with a great deal of dedication and hard work. After 2 years of reconstruction, the property was given the name "Tanzerhof" and until 1980 it was managed by the family of Paul Baumgartner. Baumgartner’s son Hans and Hans’ wife Christl then took over the management of the Hotel Tanzer.

The focus back then was the same as it is today: on providing our guests with attentive care.
